It can be easy to fear April when the IRS and those pesky showers come knocking, but if you’re an SCCA® autocrosser, April is actually a spectacular month. The Tire Rack SCCA Solo® National Tour has an amazing month of events, with the Tire Rack ProSolo® Series boasting its own list of hot stops you won’t want to miss.
From April’s opening salvo in Atlanta to closing out the month with simultaneous events in California and Oklahoma, there’s something for everyone in April.

Tour(ing) America
The 2025 Tire Rack SCCA Solo National Tour, or what those outside of our lingo might know as a more traditional autocross format, has a pair of terrific events on the April calendar in the middle of the country.
It begins with the Texas Solo National Tour at Naval Air Station Chase Field – insiders call this one “Beeville.” The Beeville, TX, site opened the ProSolo season not long ago, and many of the top competitors will jump for an opportunity to run on that grippy combination of asphalt and concrete. Plus, Lone Star Region knows how to host a party, so don’t miss out when this hits the course on April 11-13.
The Sooner State doesn’t like to be shown up by a bunch of Texans, so expect the Tire Rack SCCA Oklahoma Solo National Tour, taking place April 25-27, to be an impressive one – the former Frederick Army Airfield has wide open runways to lay out spectacular courses. The World War II Airborne Demonstration Team calls the Frederick Regional Airport home, which means you can autocross on Saturday and Sunday, then learn to parachute on Monday.
Going Pro(Solo)
The 2025 Tire Rack SCCA ProSolo Series calendar bookends the month of April with two iconic venues.
On April 4-5, the field travels to Atlanta Motor Speedway for two days of head-to-head autocrossing during the Tire Rack SCCA Atlanta ProSolo. Inside the venue sits one of the fastest oval tracks in the country, while outside are some of the most competitive autocross layouts around.
The West Coast gets a chance at the end of the month with the Tire Rack SCCA Crows Landing ProSolo on April 25-27. The Crows Landing site may not be as well-known publicly as Atlanta Motor Speedway, but the NASA-owned airport and test center is legendary in autocross circles.
