TOPEKA, Kan. (March 26, 2008) The Sports Car Club of America is happy to announce that ChaseCam, makers of popular video recording systems used throughout the motorsports industry, will sponsor the Bonus Challenge in this years Tire Rack SCCA ProSolo National Series.At each ProSolo event, the Bonus Challenge consists of any competitors who do now qualify for the Hawk Super Challenge or Ladies Challenge. The remaining competitors can choose to enter themselves into a random draw, from which eight drivers are picked for the single-elimination Challenge. This year, California-based ChaseCam will award each regular season ChaseCam Bonus Challenge winner with a $500 product certificate and a $250 product certificate for the runner-up. For the Tire Rack SCCA ProSolo Finale, the top two qualifiers eliminated from the Hawk Super Challenge will face-off to determine the ChaseCam Bonus Challenge winner, who receives the $500 product certificate. The ChaseCam Bonus Challenge will pay out all the way through eighth place at the ProSolo Finale, with third through eighth place being determined by qualifying position of those competitors eliminated from the Hawk Super Challenge. Im a huge supporter of the SCCA Solo program and specially ProSolo, ChaseCam President Randy Chase said. Solo is a great and affordable place to start your motorsports career as drivers like Randy Pobst, Jeff Altenburg, and Jason Saini have proved. It tests your abilities as a car tuner and its an adrenaline blast. The ProSolo events turn the dial up even more with their drag-race starts and mirror courses the perfect footage to capture on a ChaseCam!Competitors must register for the program prior to the date they will compete and will be required to carry two ChaseCam decals on their car.
