Tire Rack Solo Nationals Underway!

The 42nd Tire Rack SCCA Solo National Championships are underway today at the Lincoln (Neb.) Airpark, and there are many ways to follow along if you can’t make it out to the event.

When registration closed, the entry list sat at 1,161 competitors. If that holds, it would break the record of 1,157 set in 2007 at Heartland Park Topeka.

Korry Berger, of Springdale, Ark., was the first driver off the line to start the event, piloting his E Street Prepared No. 9 Significant Other Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro Z28 on the West Course. Adding to the pressure, the run was his first ever at the Tire Rack Solo National Championship.

Live timing links will be available all weekend at Sololive.scca.com.
