What is the Tire Rack SCCA® Solo® National Championships? It’s rock and roll for autocrossers, baby, so this year we’re turning it up to 11, because the 2025 Solo Nats is just around the corner, and we know you’re gonna feel it.
Last week, we revealed the preliminary run days and registration dates for the Sept. 1-5, 2025, Solo Nationals, taking place at Lincoln Airpark in Lincoln, NE, and we hinted that the event is going to rock – we meant it quite literally, because this year’s Solo National Championships theme is ROCK-N-ROLL!
What kind of rock? Elvis, Aerosmith, The Beatles, Nirvana, it’s all good – whatever rock means to you is what this event is all about. Why aren’t we defining the era? Because when it comes to rock, nothin’ lasts forever, and we both know hearts can change.
This year’s Solo Nats is going to be a battle (of, dare we say, the bands) like no other, and we’ve already warmed up the amps by unveiling the event’s preliminary run days.
Furthermore, this year’s Solo Nats will be a festival like no other thanks to the entry cap being pumped up by an extra 100, allowing 1,400 drivers to take to Lincoln’s concrete (that’s a 700-driver cap for Tuesday/Wednesday, then another 700 for Thursday/Friday).
In case you missed the announcement the first time around, here’s an encore: This year’s Solo Nationals entry fee will be just $224 until the July 30 rate increase. From July 30 forward, the entry fee will increase to $325 and the cancellation fee for those who registered prior to July 30 will increase by $50 to become $100. Refunds will not be available for those who register on or after July 30. Online registration closes entirely on Monday, Aug. 25 – one week prior to the event. Aug. 29 at 7 p.m. ET is the last opportunity to cancel and receive a refund, less the $100 cancellation fee (for those who registered prior to July 30).
Also know that Tier 1 registration begins Tuesday, June 10, at 3 p.m. Central Time, and will include 2024 Solo National Champions, 2025 event chiefs, and those in the 100 Percenters club (this is a group of members who have been at every Solo Nationals ever held) and Silver Circle (attended Solo Nats 25 times or more). Tier 1 also applies to those who finished on the podium at last year’s Solo Nats (that’s the top three – not all trophy winners qualify) or were winners in supplemental or undersubscribed classes and didn’t officially win a National Championship.
Open Registration is for everyone else and begins Tuesday, June 17, at 3 p.m. Central Time.
Mark those dates on your calendar because this is an event you’ll never want to miss – because if everything could ever feel this real forever, you’d never leave.
When it comes to the 2025 Tire Rack SCCA Solo National Championships, just know that this is not a tribute to the greatest event in the world – this IS the greatest event. So if anyone tells you to tuck in that shirt, adjust that belt buckle, tie those shoes, and miss the 2025 Tire Rack SCCA Solo National Championships – well, we’re not gonna take it.
Make your plans to be in Lincoln on Sept. 1-5, 2025, because soon it’ll be time for the event to take center stage, and the spotlight will be on you!
