Solo Safety Steward Online Training
The Solo Safety Steward Online Course is required for initial training to become a Solo Safety Steward and also serves as continuing education for license renewal.
To request access to the online training, email regionservices@scca.com with your name, membership number, and a statement of interest in taking the Solo Safety Steward course.
Steps to Obtain a Solo Safety Steward License
First-Time Applicants:
- Request access to the online training by emailing regionservices@scca.com.
- Complete the Solo Safety Steward online training.
- Shadow a certified Safety Steward at two (2) events within a 12-month period.
- Complete the Solo Safety Steward Application Form (including approval from a Divisional Solo Safety Steward).
- Divisional Solo Safety Steward list CLICK HERE (MAP Login Required)
- Submit the completed application to membership@scca.com.
Renewal Requirements:
- If your license is active, you automatically have access to the online training.
- If your license has lapsed, request access to the training by emailing regionservices@scca.com.
- Complete the Solo Safety Steward online training.
- Serve as a Safety Steward at five (5) events within a 3-year period.
- Events can be logged in the Member Account Portal (MAP) or on application
- Complete the Solo Safety Steward Application Form (renewal section).
- Submit the completed application to membership@scca.com.
