’25 RallyCross Divisional Challenge: One in the Books, Four More to Go

Last year’s RallyCross Divisional Challenge wasted no time jumping into the action and didn’t lift off the throttle until September. This year, it’s that plus more, as the first RallyCross Divisional Challenge already took place Feb. 22-24 in Campe Verde, AZ, (check out the event results) with four more events slated through early November. And that doesn’t even count the RallyCross National Championship event taking place in October. Here’s what’s going on, and why you can’t miss it.

The second RallyCross Divisional Challenge this season is the Midwest RallyCross Divisional, taking place June 14-15 at Billy Bob’s Billings RallyX Farm in Billings, OK. Hosted by Northeast Oklahoma Region, this event will offer drivers three courses over the two-day competition weekend. The lot is large, so expect flowing layouts that will be rewarding and challenging.

Following that is the Tennessee Valley Region-hosted June 28-29 Southern Sweet Tea Classic Southeast Divisional Challenge. Taking place at Hollytree Off Road in Hollytree, AL, this event occurs at the exact same location as the Oct. 17-19, 2025, RallyCross National Championship. This event is a can’t-miss for anyone who has their eyes set on gold come October – but considering there’s an 80-driver entry cap, you’ll want to reserve your place quickly.

The 2025 Great Lakes RallyCross Divisional Challenge, hosted by Southern West Virginia Region, takes place Aug. 30-31 at Jackson County Junior Fairgrounds in Cottage, WV. The entry cap for this event is lower than the Southern Sweet Tea Classic, so you’ll want to be sure to put your name in the hat when registration opens for this event on July 14.

Different for this year is the final Divisional Challenge takes place after the RallyCross National Championship. Running from Nov. 8-9 and dubbed the “Freeze Your Curds Off” Central RallyCross Divisional Challenge, this Iowa Region event puts drivers on 30 acres of dirt at Wiegel Farm in Shullsburg, WI. Notable is that this two-day event offers drivers the opportunity to compete on Saturday only, on Sunday only, or all weekend long.

But that’s not all! There’s a twist, and we’ll tell you right after we present the season’s schedule:

2025 RallyCross Divisional Challenge Schedule

Win a Divisional Challenge, Get Tier 1 Registration!

That’s right! Class winners at any RallyCross Divisional Challenge event will qualify for Tier 1 registration at the next RallyCross National Championship. That means winners at 2025’s Southern Pacific Challenge, Midwest RallyCross Divisional Challenge, and Southern Sweet Tea Classic Southern Divisional Challenge, all get Tier 1 registration priority for the 2025 RallyCross National Championship.

Meanwhile, winners from the Nov. 8-9, 2025, Central RallyCross Divisional Challenge will score Tier 1 registration for the 2026 RallyCross National Championship event. Also receiving Tier 1 registration for 2026 will be winners of the Great Lakes RallyCross Divisional Challenge – while this event takes place prior to the 2025 RallyCross National Championship, Tier 1 registration will have already passed for the RallyCross Nats.

Don’t miss the 2025 RallyCross National Championship

We’ve mentioned it a couple times, but it’s worth repeating: The 2025 RallyCross National Championship will take place Oct. 17-19 at Hollytree Off Road in Hollytree, AL. Last year’s event offered a bit of everything, with courses that challenged even the best of drivers. There were also some breakout wins, proving the dirt to be an equal opportunity surface.

Registration for the 2025 RallyCross National Championship will begin July 23, so mark your calendar!
