Between the Tire Rack SCCA® ProSolo Finale, Tire Rack SCCA Solo® National Championships, National Championship Runoffs, RallyCross National Championship, Tire Rack SCCA Time Trials Nationals Powered by Hagerty, and the United States RoadRally Challenge®, there’s a lot going on in the Sports Car Club of America – and on Sept. 13, 2023, SCCA’s President and CEO Mike Cobb will tell you about those events and so much more during the SCCA President’s Update.
The next virtual President’s Update, scheduled for 8 p.m. CT on Sept. 13, will take place within days of the conclusion of the 50th running of the Solo National Championships, where Cobb will report on some of the action and adventures that took place at the nation’s largest autocross. Cobb also plans to preview the events that are just around the bend, like, for instance, the 60th SCCA Runoffs, which takes place this year at beautiful VIRginia International Raceway in Alton, VA.
Beyond events, there is expected to be an update on SCCA’s Learning Management System (LMS), which recently launched a massively valuable Flagging and Communications education program, with more on the horizon. There’s also SCCA’s 80th birthday in the coming year to discuss, information regarding the upcoming SCCA Board of Directors elections, the latest on the SCCA National Convention and Divisional gatherings, volunteer recruitment initiatives, SportsCar news, and more.
The Sept. 13 President’s Update will take place online and is open to every SCCA member. Preregistration is required, with Cobb’s update expected to take approximately one hour.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
We’ll see you there!
