Cameron Argetsinger
One of the earliest members of SCCA, Cameron Argetsinger was the moving force behind the creation of SCCA’s first road races at Watkins Glen, New York in 1948. In the early years or SCCA’s professional racing program, he served as Director of Professional Racing and followed that with an appointment as SCCA’s Executive Director, which today we would call President. He has been a positive representative of SCCA and the sport of road racing for decades and now serves on the Board of the Watkins Glen Motor Racing Research Library. Cameron’s grandson, Michael Kanaley accepted this award on behalf of the family.
