VIRginia International Raceway originally opened in 1957, and its first official event was an SCCA race that attracted stars like Bob Holbert, Carroll Shelby, and Carl Haas. The venue is a fixture in SCCA’s history, having hosted three Runoffs® National Championships. This 2025 Hoosier Racing Tire SCCA® Super Tour at VIR will be a two-day event hosted by the Club’s North Carolina Region.
