The Sports Car Club of America’s crown jewel road racing event is the annual “Runoffs,” which serves as a gathering for the top SCCA road racers in the country to go head-to-head to prove who is the best.

Since 1964, the SCCA National Championship Runoffs has been held at legendary tracks, including Daytona International Speedway, Road Atlanta, Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Laguna Seca, Sonoma Raceway, Road America, VIRginia International Raceway, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and more.

For 2022, the SCCA National Championship Runoffs returns to the challenging and picturesque VIRginia International Raceway in Alton, VA, for the second time (the first being in 2019). Practice, qualifying and championship racing for the 59th running of the prestigious amateur road racing event will be held Sept. 24-Oct. 2, 2022.
