The New Year Brings with It Several Staff Promotions at the SCCA National Office

In celebration of jobs well done, the Sports Car Club of America® has rung in the New Year with the promotion of five SCCA Staff members who have been instrumental in serving the membership through their tenure at the SCCA.

Through these promotions, the National Office maintains the momentum it has gained through the years of excelling at customer service, be it easing the ability for drivers to get behind the wheel, or ensuring Region leaders have all of the information they need in order to consistently execute enjoyable and fun event weekends.

CherriLea Roduner joined the SCCA Staff in 2008 as part of Member Services, becoming a series administrator for SCCA Pro Racing from 2014-’19. In 2019, she returned to Member Services, meaning if you have called the SCCA National Office with questions regarding your membership, there is a good chance it was CherriLea who assisted in resolving any issues. For 2025, CherriLea has been promoted to Assistant Manager of Member Services.

CherriLea will continue to report to Aimee Thoennes, the Director of Member Services.

An SCCA Staff member since 2016, Jamie Mullin has been a powerhouse in the Club’s Sanction and Insurance department, ensuring event documentation for all of SCCA’s 115 Regions is correctly filled out and processed. Her amazing work has not gone unnoticed, and for 2025, Jamie has been promoted to Senior Manager of Sanction and Insurance.

Jamie reports to Senior Director of Business Operations Jeff Dahnert.

Andie Albin originally joined the SCCA Marketing and Communications department in 2015, rejoining as an SCCA Staff member once more in 2022 following a 10-month hiatus. In the time since, she has excelled in the role of Multi-Channel Marketing Manager, consistently approaching every project with initiative and dedication. Andie has played a key role in the department's success, demonstrating strong leadership skills, including managing the Club’s new Social Media Coordinator in 2024.

Andie has been promoted to Lead Manager of Marketing, where she will oversee the execution of SCCA's marketing initiatives, manage two members of the marketing team, and collaborate closely with Kristen Poole on overall marketing strategy.

Following years of supporting SCCA’s National Solo® and Tire Rack Street Survival programs, Scott Dobler became SCCA’s Road Racing Technical Assistant in 2023, where he was responsible for Hoosier Super Tour and other general SCCA Road Racing equipment logistics and transportation, technical communications, and member inquiries, as well as maintaining SCCA Road Racing publications like the General Competition Rules (GCR).

With two years now under his belt, Scott has been promoted to Series Manager of Road Racing.

Scott will report to SCCA’s Director of Road Racing Jeff Barrow.

Finally, Nikki Edwards, who joined the SCCA Staff as a full-time employee in 2021 as the Solo/Experiential Programs Communications Coordinator, has been promoted to Manager of Rally/Solo/Experiential Programs Communications. In her role, she will continue to coordinate pre- and post-event communications for National Solo, Time Trials, and Track Night participants, providing a consistent look, feel, tone, and clarity for new and experienced participants, as well as easing the anxiety for those unsure of their next steps after registering for an event.

Nikki reports to Jennifer McAbee, Senior Manager of Experiential Programs.

“It’s an honor to be able to recognize the incredible work CherriLea, Jamie, Andie, Scott, and Nikki have put in through the years,” said SCCA President and CEO Mike Cobb. “Through their hard work – and the dedication of the rest of the SCCA Staff and thousands of SCCA volunteers across the country – 2025 is shaping up to be another fantastic year.”
