It's The Winners and More at TTN

There’s no doubt that it was an exciting few days at the Tire Rack SCCA Time Trials Nationals Powered by Hagerty at NCM Motorsports Park, but the largest Time Trials event in the country has concluded. More than 200 drivers took place in the event, and a rain shower on Saturday morning was the only weather blemish on the weekend.

That shower caused a change in the session, and the final scores at TTN were two parts – the best lap on the full track during Thursday and Friday’s sessions, and the best result during the sessions on Saturday and Sunday.

An impressive 10 drivers lowered the class track records, and countless more posted personal bests on the NCM full course.

Class Winners


The schedule evolved throught weekend thanks to Saturday morning’s rain shower, but the final scores of the weekend were determined by the quickest full-track lap on Thursday and Friday and the quickest full-track lap on Saturday and Sunday. After those times were combined, winners were on the KONI Podium. Those in each class were:

Spirit of Time Trials: Justin Slaughter, who moved out of Novice, but kept going back to the group for encouragement and engagement.

Keepin’ It Cool Award, Presented by Hagerty: Nate Kindlon, the 17-year-old driver who came back from a blown motor in his Mazda RX-8 at the Time Trials National Tour event here earlier this year with a Chevrolet Camaro to compete.
Fastest All Wheel Drive Car: Robert Wilmouth, Audi RS3
Fastest Front Wheel Drive: Jimmy Rauck, Honda Civic
Fastest Rear Wheel Drive Car: Steve Luca, Ford Mustang
Never Surrender: Michael Digrigorio, Chevrolet Corvette
Breakthrough Performer: Ryan Tolleson, Toyota Supra, who came to TTN from a background in oval racing.
