While SCCA® and IMSA have “only” been official partners since 2020, the relationship dates back years – although it’s no simple task to figure out exactly when it all began. From drivers to workers and fans, the line between SCCA and IMSA is so intertwined that when the official partnership was announced just four years ago, the press release surprised no one. It was, after all, a partnership that already existed, albeit unofficially – the announcement simply formalized the matter.
