Inside the SCCA podcast Wins Best Podcast of 2023 Award

The Inside the SCCA podcast, hosted by longtime SCCA® member Brian Bielanski, has won the Best Podcast of 2023 Award by the National Motorsports Press Association. Bielanski’s work on the podcast includes interviews with SCCA members, from workers to drivers, champions to Regional weekend warriors, and beyond. He’s also interviewed numerous industry luminaries, added a video element to the weekly show, and even taken the podcast on the road to the National Championship Runoffs® and the Tire Rack SCCA Solo® National Championships.

The Inside the SCCA podcast is not owned by the Sports Car Club of America. Instead, it’s an independent media outlet managed by Rule 15 Productions and hosted by journalist and broadcaster Bielanski, using the SCCA name with permission.

Through Bielanski’s hard work, the show has grown its audience from launch to more than 4,000 listeners per month, with continuous growth.

“When I opened the email announcing the winners, I had to read it a few times to make sure my 5 a.m. eyes weren't playing tricks on me,” Bielanski said of winning the award. “It's such an honor to be recognized by your peers – and even more so when I think about the other podcasts in the category that are focused on all the big pro racing series. I work hard to tell the stories of the people on the show and, as we all know, racers love to tell stories."

In addition to the Inside the SCCA podcast, Bielanski also offers commentary alongside Gregg Ginsberg during the DriversEye Live-produced race coverage of the 10-race Hoosier Racing Tire SCCA Super Tour, streamed live on SCCA’s YouTube channel.

The Inside the SCCA podcast can be streamed or downloaded every week via your favorite podcast player, or by heading to the podcast’s home on the RacingWire Podcast Network. Video of the weekly podcast can be found on The Racing Network YouTube channel.
