Ring ring! Season-opening National autocross events are calling. Are you gonna answer?

If the bright lights of a ProSolo starting tree spark your soul and the thought of a Solo National Tour weekend sends your heart racing, we have terrific news: You can register now for some of this year’s early events.

Between the Tire Rack SCCA Solo National Tour and Tire Rack ProSolo Series, in January alone, it’s possible to ante up for five events, especially if you scooped up a ProSolo SuperPass (and if you didn’t already do so, there’s still time).

The Phoenix and Red Hills Solo National Tours, plus the ProSolo season opener in South Texas, already have registration open for business. Then there’s a pair of ProSolo aces in Vegas that are set to be parlayed soon (registration for the first ProSolo round in Vegas opens Jan. 24 for SuperPass holders, with SuperPass registration for the second Vegas ProSolo stop coming on Jan. 31).

That’s Not All…

February brings three more National Solo registration opportunities: The Frederick ProSolo and Crows Landing ProSolo will get cranking on Feb. 14 and 28, respectively, for SuperPass holders, with the South Texas (Beeville to its friends) Solo National Tour registration opening Feb. 28.

Here’s the best part – these events are just the beginning of the 12-weekend Tire Rack SCCA ProSolo Series and 14-event Tire Rack SCCA Solo National Tour (counting the Tire Rack SCCA Solo National Championships). There’s plenty more to come, which means there’s more fun to be had – but you know you want to get in on this early-season action.

Why Register Early?

Autocrossers are a planning kind of crowd, which is why we’re telling you this as early as we can. The fact is, some of these events can – and often do – reach their registration caps, and you won’t want to find yourself out of luck by getting into the game too late.

To quote a famous philosopher and car enthusiast who dabbled in music: “I'm gonna keep on the run, I'm gonna have me some fun, if it costs me my very last dime. If I wind up broke, oh well, I’ll always remember that I had a swingin’ time.”

He also said “Viva Las Vegas” – so with a pair of ProSolo weekends coming up in Vegas very soon, this sounds like great autocross advice to us.
