The SCCA® National Office is closed starting Monday, Dec. 25, 2023, reopening on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024, allowing the staff to celebrate the holidays with family and friends – though really, they’ll be working on their cars. But what if you need to renew your membership, download some needed files, or simply have free time to waste on SCCA content? We might be away from our desks, but we’ve still got you covered.
Many membership questions can be answered through the Member Account Portal (MAP) at my.scca.com. Log in, then select the “My Account” menu on the left, and you’ll be offered a variety of options covering everything from renewing your membership (found under the “My Profile” selection) to changing your password, and more. Most of the forms you might need to track down are located under the “Member Resources” menu, while those looking for racing and Club stickers, patches, and more should select the “Online Store” link.
Click around – it’s amazing what’s in MAP.
What’s in MAP?
SCCA’s Annual Waiver, for one. Click the “Licenses & Waivers” link under the “Online Resources” menu, upload a photo, click some random buttons, and you’re on your way to a smooth event registration process for the next year.
You’ll also find minor waivers, parental consent, competition license, novice permit, and other forms there.
That’s Boring! Show Me Stuff!
Gotcha! SCCA has been busy this year producing videos about members, speed, and stuff, and you can find it all on YouTube.
One of our most exciting series is the SCCA Shop Manual presented by Hoosier Racing Tire. Thanks to SCCA members like you, this year we produced a bundle of SCCA Shop Manuals covering everything from what to check on your competition vehicle between on-track sessions to balancing your race car, finding that last second, racing strategies, and more. The SCCA Shop Manual playlist is 35 videos and growing, with the most recent coming at the end.
Considering the Shop Manual videos are about three to four minutes in length, the playlist should only take you two hours to complete.
Just imagine how fast you’ll be afterwards.
