The Sports Car Club of America is a club in every sense of the word, and each of us has a role to play in SCCA’s success. For Arkansas Region member David Barkley, that means sharing his Region and autocross with the Fox 16 Little Rock viewing audience.
Through his day job as Service Manager at Gwatney Chevrolet in Jacksonville, AR, Barkley recently appeared on the Gwatney Automotive Minute segment of Fox 16 to introduce the viewership to Regional SCCA Autocross.
Barkley first joined the SCCA in 2009, and most recently ran in D Street at the 2022 Tire Rack SCCA Solo National Championships, where he finished respectably amidst an ultra-competitive 60-car field.
Arkansas Region recently used the Gwatney Chevrolet parking lot as one of its autocross sites, and hopes to host more there.
