There are plenty of wonderful organizations out there worthy of receiving charitable donations during the holiday season, and that list certainly includes SCCA Foundation.
The mission of SCCA Foundation is to support the Sports Car Club of America by providing inclusive opportunities for motorsports competition, safety, education, and historical preservation. Donations to SCCA Foundation – a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization – are tax deductible as allowed by law. And you don’t have to be a member of the Club to make a donation.
Whether you donate as part of year-end tax planning, or just because you want to show your continued commitment to the Club, 100 percent of your gift goes to support SCCA Foundation’s mission, which includes efforts such as:
- Preserving the History of American Motorsport
- Saving the Lives of Teen Drivers

- Veterans in Motorsports
- Women on Track
Helping SCCA Thrive
Behind the scenes, a major goal for SCCA Foundation is to increases awareness of SCCA activities and encourage others to be actively involved in the Club. Support for a multitude of scholarships is just one way SCCA Foundation works toward this objective.
“The Howard Duncan Greenlight Fund, Wendi Allen Scholarship Fund, and SCCA Women on Track RallyCross National Championship Scholarship are only three examples of SCCA Foundation’s efforts designed to increase excitement for SCCA activities,” says Jeff Jacobs, Chairman of SCCA Foundation. “These programs, however, are not just ‘free’ trips for someone to an SCCA event. What these initiatives really do is allow a few Club members to take part in events they would not normally be able to attend. When they return to their local Regions and share their experiences, the hope is their stories ignite a passion in others to become more involved.”
From Tire Rack Street Survival schools to the various grants and scholarships, it’s donations that make SCCA Foundation’s work possible. Be it $20, $200, $2,000, or $2 million – any contribution is greatly appreciated by the not-for-profit organization, and helps ensure the continuation and growth of programs, which in turn keeps SCCA vibrant and thriving as a whole. Members of the Club can easily donate today through SCCA’s Member Account Portal, or simply click the link below.
