As the 2022 Tire Rack SCCA ProSolo “regular” season nears its conclusion, it’s time for competitors to set their sights on the Tire Rack SCCA ProSolo Championship Finale, taking place Sept. 2-4, 2022, at Lincoln Airpark in Nebraska.
As in previous years, the registration process will be conducted in a staggered, tiered manner to balance competition achievement and program support. Drivers must have scored points in the class entered at a minimum of two 2022 ProSolo events.
Tier 1 registration opens on Thursday, Aug. 11, at 3 p.m. CDT, for competitors who have amassed 34 or more ProSolo points during the ‘regular’ season.
Tier 2 registration opens on Thursday, Aug. 18, at 3 p.m. CDT for drivers who have amassed at least 27 ProSolo points or scored points while participating in at least three ProSolos during the year.
Tier 3 registration opens on Thursday, Aug. 25, at 3 p.m. CDT for those who have scored points in two or more 2022 ProSolos. Because the entry cap for this event is 275 people, Tier 3 registrants will be added to the entry list as space allows.
The entry fee for this year’s Tire Rack SCCA ProSolo Championship Finale is $225 per person.
Those registering after the entry cap has been reached will have their names placed on a wait list. People will be moved from the wait list to the official entry list if cancellations are made. For more information, click here.
Last Chance to Jump a Tier
For those coming up short by a few points or missing an event in order to qualify for the ProSolo Finale’s Tier 1 or Tier 2 registration, consider a weekend excursion to Oscoda, MI, for the last “regular” season round of the Tire Rack SCCA ProSolo Series. This event will be held Aug. 5-7 at Oscoda-Wurtsmith Airport and is the last chance for you to add to your ProSolo points or event count prior to registration opening for the Tire Rack SCCA ProSolo Championship Finale.
