Fresh on the heels of a trial run last week on the iRacing platform, the Hoosier Racing Tire SCCA eSports Super Tour begins in earnest this weekend with more race groups, a seven-race schedule, and a new name thanks to long-time Sports Car Club of America® supporter Hoosier Racing Tire.
Hoosier Racing Tire is on board as the series title partner in an extension of their support for the “outdoor” version of the Hoosier Racing Tire SCCA Super Tour.
The races are open exclusively to SCCA members and will, of course, take place on iRacing. Each qualifying and race will be broadcast live to the public for those wishing to scratch the motorsports itch but not ready to jump behind the wheel of the virtual car themselves. Super Tour and SCCA National Championship Runoffs broadcasters Larry MacLeod and Gregg Ginsburg will be on the call for the eSports races each week.
