Register for the 2015 Tire Rack Mineral Wells ProSolo!

We are five weeks away from the second of two National Events in Texas this year, as we are quickly approaching the Pro Solo in Mineral Wells Texas; June 5-7. Our Championship Tour event in April was epic, and we expect this one to be no different. Hosted by Texas Region SCCA, and event Chair Brad Maxcy, there will be lots to remember from this 2015 "Game of Cones".

Here are Five Reasons why you must sign-up for this event!

1. You might see yourself on TV! Check out this awesome recap from the 2014 event. The Texas Region pulls out all the stops in their events and there are always great memories to be made just outside of the Dallas / Fort Worth Metroplex in this annual stop on the Pro Solo National Tour.

2. Your skills will be tested against the very best on the National Scene. Expect appearances from 2014 Texas Pro Solo Winner, Mark Madarash as an example. Mark should be back defending his crown in this event, coming off his recent victory at the Blytheville Pro Solo this past weekend. Kim Whitener will also be looking to defend her Blytheville victory in the Ladies Challenge, and build upon her recent win in College Station earlier in the season. The competition is always big and fast in Texas and what better way to measure your skills as we reach the halfway point in the 2015 season than against this field.

3. Get ready to party!!! Event Sponsor Vorshlag Motorsports will be back again for 2015, hosting a dinner and welcome party on Friday night, and who can miss Terry Fair holding court over the event on the eve of the action? As if Terry wasn't enough, on Saturday night the Mineral Wells Chamber of Commerce will once again sponsor a party and BBQ onsite for all attendees. We don't visit another city on the Tour that welcomes us as much as Mineral Wells. They love having us and it shows with great event support. Camping is allowed onsite at this venue as well.

4. Just like College Station, the Mineral Wells site is huge, and the surface is fast and grippy! Course designer Vivek Goel will again be putting together free flowing courses for us in Texas that are inviting to drive yet impossible to master. His courses at the 2014 Nationals were insanely good, and drivers are still raving over how fast and challenging his 2015 College Station Champ Tour courses were as well. Mineral Wells gives us lots of room to work with on this proven surface, and expect Vivek to use every bit of it to put us all to the test.

Expect this course to be filled with great elements and great cars just North of Dallas / Fort Worth, TX.

5. The 2015 Tire Battle will reach epic proportions at this event. We are expecting Sunny Skies in early June in Mineral Wells and temperatures in the mid 60's early morning to mid-90's in the afternoon. This will be the perfect test to see how the 2015 compounds hold up in a wide range of conditions. Bring those Sprayers if not for tires, for your head! You might need it to keep yourself from combusting from laughter during Terry Fair and Brad Maxcy's joke and storytelling episodes throughout the weekend.
