The Meadowlands in May. There's no place anyone in the East would rather be than in East Rutherford, New Jersey, with the New York City skyline in the distance. Home to the Jets and Giants, the MetLife Stadium at the Meadowlands Sports Complex is hosting this year's eastern most Pro Solo.

You've got the nation's fastest competitors from as far north as Maine, as far west as Minnesota, as far south as Louisiana, and even across the border from Ontario, converging in the #1 metropolitan center of the United States. There will not be any soft classes with each one being a tough battle. As they say, "If you can make it there you can make it anywhere." The surface at the Giants and Jets home stadium is not perfectly flat the undulations make any course interesting and fun to drive. Course design will be executed by Mark Labbancz and Eric Simmons both resident denizens of the Meadowlands Lot E. Perry Aidelbaum will be overseeing the event, along with the members of Northern New Jersey Region, to make sure it runs in a "New York Minute."

The surrounding area offers an incredible variety of restaurants along with the original club known as "Bada-Bing" on HBO's Sopranos. Even the gas in "Jersey" is economical (low taxes). We cannot confirm nor deny that Chris Christie be attending, but we're pretty sure Jimmy Hoffa is somewhere around the Meadowlands. Frank Sinatra grew up in Hoboken (minutes away from MetLife Stadium). Bruce and Jon Bonjovi are just down the road off of the Garden State Parkway.

The Yankees will be hosting a four day stand starting Thursday against the Baltimore Orioles through a Sunday afternoon game (the Mets will be in Philadelphia that weekend. No need to worry about a conflict with the Knicks as their season was over months ago). You could still find time to visit the Empire State Building, Liberty Tower or 30 Rockefeller Plaza.
