In an effort to create better understanding of all things Nationals, the National office will be pushing out a number stories throughout the year regarding things like registration, paddocking, social events, etc. Below is the first installment of "The Road to Lincoln" - 2015 Edition.
- Region Tents: We will be offering 9 regions/groups the opportunity to rent tents again this year. They will be first come first serve on the tents. Please contact Brian Harmer (bharmer@scca.com) to reserve your tent or if you have any questions. There will be 3 tents in 30'X30' and 6 tents of 20'X30'.
- Registration / Paddock: Online registration for Solo Nationals will open on June 1 an Noon Central time. Paddock will open up for groups needing 6 or more spots on July 1st. On July 8th paddock reservations will be opened up to the general public and will be on a first come first serve basis. To reserve a group spots there must be a list of names and those names must be registered for the event before they can be part of the group reservation. All group lists need to be emailed to Randall Prince (randallprince@gmail.com) as in previous years.
- Gate Time Opening: Last year there were a few folks that got inside the gates early. Lincoln Air Park was not happy with us letting extra folks in last year. With that we need to set a hard date/time for when folks can come on site this year so we can keep the site happy which in turn keeps on there for as long as possible. Wednesday September 2 will be setup. Only minimum staff will be allowed on site that day. Thursday September 3 additional setup with specific names allowed only. Friday September 4 at 8:00 am central the gates will open to the public.
- Fire Station Water: There is absolutely no one is allowed to go to the fire station to get water for anything including pools. We are working on a possible solution to make water available.
