It's hard to imagine but we are just a few days away from the 2014 Pro Solo Finale and the Tire Rack Solo Nationals! By participating in the 2014 Solo Events in Lincoln, you will be part of history for SCCA. This year’s Pro Solo Finale is the largest ever and the same can be said for the Tire Rack Solo Nationals. Also this year, we have the first ever CAM Class Invitational Challenge, sponsored by Speedway Motors and the Monday night Welcome Party will be at the site. We want to mention that the Monday night Welcome Party is being sponsored by Grass Roots Motorsports. Not only is it a Welcome Party but we will also be bringing back an oldie but goodie! The Talent Show is being revived! Below is a list of what is going on for 2014.
- Largest Pro Solo Finale ever begins on Friday, August 29th.
- CAM Class Invitational Challenge at noon on Sunday, August 31st.
- Monday night Welcome Party, sponsored by Grass Roots Motorsports.
- Banquet and awards ceremony for the Tuesday/Wednesday competitors.
- Lunch for all of the Hankook competitors at the site on Wednesday, September 3rd
- Reception for all of the Mazda competitors on Thursday night, September 4th, at the site.
- Tours of the Smith Museum of American Speed on Thursday night, September 4th, from 7 pm – 9 pm.
- Banquet and awards ceremony for the Thursday/Friday competitors.
- Solo Trials event on Saturday, September 6th.
As you can see, we have ten very full days in Lincoln. One thing that is different this year is that we will not be printing the Driver’s Information Manual (DIM). A digital version of the DIM will be available on the SCCA website Monday August, 25 with the rest of the Nationals information.
