(July 24, 2008) Entering the third race of an already competitive series, the SCCA Pro Racing VW Jetta TDI Cup will make its only stop on the West Coast at Portland International Raceway on July 27. The clean diesel race series is anticipating an enthusiastic welcome in what is widely known as one of the greenest cities in America. These clean diesel vehicles are going to bring a whole new element of racing to an area that already has a significant interest in the environment. Volkswagens goal is to find the driver with the most talent and help them break into the world of professional motorsports. The Jetta TDI Cup series, the first all clean-diesel race series, is sanctioned by SCCA Pro Racing Inc.
