2008 Volkswagen Jetta TDI Cup Television Schedule Announced

HERNDON, Va. (Oct. 23, 2008) - The 2008 Volkswagen Jetta TDI Cup season will begin airing on SPEED Sunday, Oct. 26. A total of seven, 30-minute episodes will be broadcast from October through November, ending with an hour-long Jetta TDI Cup documentary on Saturday, Nov. 22. €œWe are very excited to be able to showcase the 2008 season of the Jetta TDI Cup on SPEED Channel,€ said Clark Campbell, motorsport manager, Volkswagen of America. €œThis first season was full of great racing action from our young drivers and the clean diesel Jetta TDI and we have no doubt the viewers at home, just like the ones at each race, will be on the edge of their seats.€ SPEED has been filming the first year of the Jetta TDI Cup from the very beginning, back to the driver selection process in April, as well as every race, to catch everything that happened on and off the track. The final 60-minute documentary will show the action and drama of the series, highlighting how the drivers have progressed in their racing careers.
