With the Team Valvoline ProAm 50 taking the leadoff spot for the broadcast on Sat, there has been a shift in the normal race times.  The good news is that all the races are still on and will be the same length as before. The new schedule for race times looks like this:

  • 5:00 pm – Race start for Team Valvoline ProAm 50
    • 4:00 pm – Practice starts
  • 5:55 pm – Race starts for Spec Racer Ford
    • 4:45 pm – Practice starts
  • 6:40 pm – Race starts for Touring
    • 5:30 pm – Practice starts
  • 7:25 pm – Race starts for Skip Barber Formula 2000
    • 6:15 – Practice starts (no tournament, go to regular league sessions)
  • 8:10 pm – Race starts for Big Bore
    • 7:00 pm – Practice starts
  • 8:55 pm – Race starts for Global MX-5 Cup
    • 7:45 – Practice starts (no tournament, go to regular league sessions)

As a note, you can see we are going away from the Tournament qualifying for the Skippy and the MX-5.  After the issue a few drivers had joining the Skip Barber Formula 2000 race room, and the fact that we have been under the threshold number wise the last two weeks, we have decided to table that process.  We were extremely disappointed that drivers were left out and want to do all we can to keep that from happening again.  We are looking into other ways to implement a way to qualify for a race, as we feel we will need it in the future.  However, until we feel confident that all of the drivers that deserve to be in the race, can get into the race, we will go back to open entry.
