It may be the largest motorsports competition event in the world, but it's also where the National Champions are crowned each year. The Tire Rack SCCA Solo National Championships move to the Lincoln (Neb.) Airpark for the first time in 2009, and nearly 1,200 drivers will be on hand to fight for glory.
Drivers, crew and families
prepared all year for this--for the six minutes of breathless precision
driving that might determine if your whole season was a success, or
failure.
Yet, while it is the competition that brings everyone
together, it is the friendship that makes the week so enjoyable.
Nowhere on earth does anything remotely close to this happen. It is
truly a unique event featuring truly remarkable people.
