Colorado Region to host 2009 SCCA RallyCross National Championship
The 2009 SCCA RallyCross National Championship Event will be held on the grounds of the U.S. Truck Driving School in Fountain, Colorado, alongside the Front Range of the beautiful Rocky Mountains. The site is located just off of Interstate 25 twenty minutes south of Colorado Springs and nearly in the shadow of Pikes Peak.
This yearʼs National Championship battleground surface will be hardpack under gravel, which can be fast and slippery, but remains very solid, even when wet. This is a proven RallyCross site, as the Colorado Region has used it numerous times and will compete there at least twice in 2009 before the National Championship takes place. There are tentative plans to run two courses simultaneously to enhance the competitors drive time and to moderate the inevitable course delays. An optional night Regional RX (“Shot–in-the-Dark”) is also likely to be a part of the weekend, which will test the participating driverʼs night RX driving abilities in a fun bonus feature of the Championship .
The event site is located just ten minutes from food and lodging in the town of Fountain, and only twenty minutes from the amenities of one of Colorados largest cities, Colorado Springs, with excellent food, lodging and tourist attractions that will complement the great racing just down the road.
The Colorado Region invites you to bring your best "Dirt is for Racing the Clock!" driving out to Colorado to compete for the title of the SCCA National RallyCross Champion.

If you'd like to preview the site, we have links to videos taken during the 2007 National Event by Rupert Berrington, and in-car footage by Lee Koch when we ran three consecutive laps around the course, instead of three separately timed runs.
