The 2024 SCCA® National Championship Runoffs® presented by Sunoco will be a celebration for many reasons, not the least of which is that the Sept. 28-Oct. 6 event marks the 60th anniversary of the winner-take-all championship. First taking place in 1964 at Southern California’s Riverside International Raceway, the event has traveled the country from coast to coast, with racers tackling the Runoffs at Daytona International Speedway, Road Atlanta, Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Road America, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and more. This year’s Runoffs sees SCCA’s premier championship road racing event return to a freshly repaved Road America in Elkhart Lake, WI, with hundreds of racers champing at the bit to battle for the right to call themselves SCCA’s next National Champion.
